Directions from I-280 North or South
Exit Sand Hill Rd. East. Follow this road for several miles. Take a right
on Stockfarm Rd. Then take a left onto Campus Drive West. Pass the Welch Rd.
intersection and take the next right at Panama St. to find Parking Structure 2 (see Parking, below).
Directions from Hwy 101 North or South
Exit 101 at Embarcadero Rd. (west) towards Stanford University. Proceed
for several miles on Embarcadero. Turn right at El Camino Real. Take El
Camino Real North to the University Avenue/Palm Drive overpass (exit is on the right). Turn left
onto Palm Drive. Continue on Palm Drive (towards Stanford's Main Quad).
Then turn right on Campus Drive and follow the road directly to Panama Drive.
Turn left on Panama Drive to find Parking Structure 2 (see Parking, below).
Parking and Transportation
The nearest parking to the Science and Engineering Quad is Parking Structure
2, located on the corner of Panama Street and Via Ortega Avenue. Pay parking
is available on the ground level. Visitor parking will have either a meter
at the parking space or a permit vending machine located in the parking lot.
Coins are necessary for meters; pay machines generally accept currency, coins,
and credit cards. There is a two-hour limit at meters unless displaying a
permit issued from vending machine. Parking is enforced from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Monday-Friday; after 4 PM or on the weekends, parking is free in any "A" or "C" lot.
